Supporting BBC Children in Need

For the week leading up to Children in Need on Friday 20th November 2009, thewealthworks team ran a soup kitchen for their staff, selling snacks, soup and rolls to help raise money for the BBC campaign.

By the end of the week, the total raised exceeded £100.  A brilliant effort from all!

Special thanks go to the wealthworks' chef's Alex Adams (Monday), Gill Pickworth (Tuesday), Mick Jones (Wednesday), Marian Jones (Thursday) and Richard Jones (Friday) who all contributed both their time and money to make the 'soup of the day'.

BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK corporate charity.  Then annual telethon is one of the highs of the BBC calendar and plenty of activity takes place all across the UK around this time to help raise those crucial pennies to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.  However, Pudsey is busy all year round helping to make sure the money we raise goes to those who need it the most.
