Implementation Services

When clients confirm they wish to implement Troika, we hold a pre-implementation meeting to confirm the topics below. With this information we can firm up the implementation costs.

Implementation:

When, where and on what platform will all need to be confirmed. This will be carried out by thewealthworks Technologies Team

Training:

We offer a comprehensive training service that has been running successfully for many years. Courses and workshops are offered which suit almost every level of user and background including public courses held at our offices in Handcross, bespoke training at your site and re-fresher courses. During the pre-implementation meeting, we will develop a training package for you.

Data conversion and migration:

We have considerable experience of converting clients' data from a variety of competitor systems and handle each conversion as a separate project within the implementation process. Data can also be transferred from other applications such as Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel.

Integrating with other systems:

Troika has generic import and export routines which we customise to link with other systems, automatically minimising the time-consuming process of re-keying information. For example, the system is designed to make the appropriate calculations and link with form-producing systems such as PTP Software, Drummohr Technology, CCH Software and Digita.

Financial data feeds:

We accept security pricing, dividend information and capital actions from all the known financial data feeds. It is our policy not to have direct business relationships with data providers, protecting our independence and enabling our clients to have direct relationship with the data provider of their choice. Currently our clients are using links from FT Interactive, Reuters and Bloomberg. We are happy to explore linking with any other organisation providing data feeds and commit to providing a link to any financial data feed at no extra charge.

Accounting templates:

We hold a large variety (including discretionary, life interest, accumulation and maintenance and estate/STEP compliant) and will develop the template(s) for you as part of the implementation (if you are using the accounts module). If, at a later stage, your requirements change or you wish to make amendments, we can offer a comprehensive training workshop to enable you to create, edit and implement your own accounts or we can do it for you.

Reports production:

Experience has taught us that everyone works slightly differently! This is particularly true in the reports they want. This is why we talk to you in the pre-implementation meeting about your reporting requirements including any complex accounting requirements such as full accounts, schedules, reconciliations and internal reports. The standard range of reports available is considerable, but it is almost inevitable that they will not fit the exact needs of every potential client and we discuss this at that time. Again we can train you to affect the changes yourselves, or do it for you.
